General 

CYBW series marine air pump is the oil-free lubricating sliding-vane air pump,Which has the features of small size,light weight,energy-saving,and clean exhausted air with no oil pollution,etc. It can meet the requirement for marine uses.

1.1 Applications

CYBW series marine air pump is designed specially as the auxiliary equipment for marice sanitary sewage disposal system,it is also applicable to the industries of printing machinery packing,blow molding,and light fitting etc.

The pump parts of this pump are integrated with the motor,rotor and the output shaft of motor are connected directly,this make the motor of compact,reliable structure,and beautiful configuraion.With radiating fins fitted on the skirt of pump body of this pump,and cooling fans fitted on the main shaft of CYBW-25~40 Model,it can provide excellent heat radiation.At the air vent of the pump,there is a regulating value installed to adjust the exhaust pressure.And an air filter is installed at the air inlet.

3. Installation and start-up

a. The pump shall be installed in clean,dry and ventilated room with ambient temperature with 50℃.It shall be located evenly,and the base of the pump shall be fixed with blots.

b. When connecting the wiring for the motor,pay attention that the electricity system of the power supply shall be in accordance with the motor,and rotating direction of the pump shall be the same as indicated on the lable.Back rotating or back suction is not allowed.

c. In the initial start-up of the pump,be carefull that the pump shall have no

abnormal noise.Otherwise,the pump must be stopped at once,and shall

not be started again amil the problem is been checked and fixed.

4. Operation and maintcnance

a. During the operation,the exhausted air pressure can be adjusted with the regulating valve installed at the air vent(but the pressure shall not exceed the rated pressure).

b. The sliding vane of this pump is made of self-lubricating materials. So it is prohibited to let liquids such as water or oil to enter into the pump.

c. The air inlet filter shall always be kept clean,and it shall be removed and cleaned once every 1~2 month.

d. In normal operation,the pump shall be dissembled for check and maintenance every half year.such as cleaning the bearing,and refilling the composite calcium-base grease.

e. If the sliding vane is worn down,and affects the working performance or breaks into pieces,you shall stop the pump immediately and replace the sliding vane.The disassembling procedure is as per 3.1.1a.and 3.2.1 a,b,c,d.

f. If the pump has stopped for longer than three months or has just been overhauled,you shall first run the pump without load for half an hour,then add rated load to run for half an hour. If it is observed with no abnormal conditions,then you can operate the pump together with other machines.

5.  Storage and handling

During the storage of the pump,measures shall be taken to prevent rust and dampening,it shall be stored in dry warehouse.When moving the pump it shall be handled with care,do not drop or hit the pump.
