PP Rope (Polypropylene Rope) is a lightweight, buoyant synthetic rope ideal for marine and waterborne applications. With a specific density of 0.91, it floats on water – a key advantage for lifebuoy lines, buoy moorings, fender pendants, and temporary docking. It offers good chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, and excellent cost‑effectiveness. Though its UV and abrasion resistance are moderate, it performs reliably in fresh and salt water. Available in standard white or custom colours, and supplied with classification society certificates (ABS, LR, BV, DNV, CCS, etc.). Standard coil length 220m, with ISO 2307 certified breaking loads.
