1. One-button distress alarm

1.1. How to one-button distress alarm?

       A distress alert process can be activated when the vessel or persons on board are in danger.One key distress alarm, can quickly send danger, step Flash is as follows:

       A. Open the "DISTRESS" button cover, press and hold the "DISTRESS" button for more than 4 seconds, the alarm will automatically sound, such as Figure 1.

   

B. After sending the alarm, wait for the confirmation of distress and listen for the call situation, as shown in Figure 2.

     

If no distress acknowledgement is received in about 4 minutes, the system automatically resends the distress alarm until the distress acknowledgement is received.

C. After receiving the confirmation of distress, the alarm sounds and a prompt box pops up, as shown in Figure 3.

     

Press ESC as prompted to stop the alarm and exit the prompt box to display the message content, as shown in Figure 4.

D. Communicate with the coastal station by radio telephone, call as follows: 

1) Ask for help three times; 

2) Say your ship's name and your call sign three times; 

3) Explain the nature of the distress and the help needed; 

4) Describe the condition of your vessel (type, number of persons on board, etc.) and any other information that may assist in the rescue.

1.2. How to cancel the distress alarm? 

      After sending the distress alarm, enter the confirmation wait, and cancel the distress alarm if necessary. The steps are as follows: 

A. Select the soft function key "Cancel", and a selection box will pop up, as shown in Figure 5

Select "Yes" to enter the distress cancellation interface, and the distress cancellation sending frequency is the same as the distress call frequency, as shown in Figure 6.

B. Select the frequency as prompted and press ENTER to send distress cancel.When the message is sent, call as prompted, as shown in Figure 7.

C. After the call is complete, press ENTER to ENTER the frequency list again. The frequency that has been called is marked with √.Repeat steps 2 to 3,Until all frequencies are transmitted.
