Full T11 Tank Container Range: 21,000L–26,000L with CCS, BV and LR Certifications

Deyuan Marine today announced the launch of its full range of Type T11 UN portable tank containers, offering capacities of 21,000L, 24,000L, 25,000L and 26,000L to meet varying payload and tare requirements across different cargoes and trade routes. The range carries classification approvals from CCS, BV and LR, and complies with IMDG T11, ADR/RID-L4BN, US DOT/CFR 49, CSC, TC, TIR, ISO and UIC requirements.

Taking the 26,000L model specified in the latest technical documentation as an example, the 20-foot full-frame insulated tank container has an M.G.W. of 36,000 kg, an estimated tare of 3,500 kg and a maximum payload of 32,500 kg. Design pressure is 4 bar with a 6 bar test pressure, design temperature ranges from -40°C to +130°C, and maximum allowable vacuum is 0.41 bar. The vessel is built in SANS 50028-7 WNr 1.4402/1.4404 (316L equivalent) stainless steel: cold-rolled 2B finish shell at 4.4 mm nominal thickness, hot-rolled ends polished internally to 1.2 micron CLA at 4.5 mm nominal after forming, with a 0.2 mm corrosion allowance. The frame uses GB/T 1591 Q355D or SPA-H steel, with 304 stainless steel frame-to-shell connections and ISO 1161 corner castings; the unit is approved for 216,000 kg stacking.

Fittings include a 500 mm 8-point fastening low-profile manlid with TIR provision, a 2.5" BSP pressure relief valve plus a blanked relief provision, a 1.5" BSP airline ball valve with blind cap and chain, a 3" low-profile top discharge provision with blank flange and siphon tube guide plate, and a 45° 3" high-lift foot valve with 3" clamped butterfly valve and emergency closure cable. Two top spill boxes house the manway/PR valve and the airline/top discharge provisions respectively, with drainage pipes running down the outside of the cladding to the rear bottom. Valves are supplied by Guard or BaiGuan, with flanges by NTtank. The carbon steel frame is shot blasted to Sa2½ and coated with 30 μm epoxy zinc-rich primer, 40 μm epoxy intermediate and 50 μm acrylic topcoat, for a minimum total DFT of 120 μm.
