1.Classification by Structure types
1.2) Check valve--also call non-return valve or one-way valve,is a valve that normally allows liquid or gas to flow through it in only one direction.It has two openings in the body,one for fluid to enter and the other for fluid to leave.
1.3) Throttling valve--Used to regulate the flow rate of pipeline media.
1.4) Butterfly valve-- is a valve which can be used for isolating or regulating flow.There are many types of butterfly valve,e.g lug type butterfly valve,wafer butterfly valve,flange butterfly valve.
1.5) Safety Valves--Used for boiler equipment and pipeline, when the medium pressure exceeds the specified value, can automatically eliminate excess medium force, to ensure the safety of production operation.
1.6) Pressure reducing valve-It is used to automatically reduce the pressure of medium in pipeline and equipment. when medium passes through valve flap,it will create resistance to make the Pressure reduce.
1.7) Steam trap-Used for automatic eliminate the condensed water on steam pipe ,to prevent steam loss or leakage.
2.Classification by Purpose and function
2.1) Intercepting type valve--primarily designed to permit or prevent the flow of liquids, including gate valve, globe valve, stop valve, ball valve and so on.
2.2) Regulating type valve--is mainly used to adjust the flow rate and pressure of the medium.Including regulating valve, throttle valve, reducing valve and so on.

3.Classification by pressure
3.1)vacuum breaker-Operating pressure below standard atmospheric pressure.
3.2) Low pressure valve -- PN≤1.6 MPa
3.3) Middle pressure valve -- PN≤PN≤2.5-6.4 MPa
3.4) High pressure valve -- PN≤10.0~80.0 MPa
3.5) Excess high pressure valve -- PN>100 MPa
4.Classification by medium temperature
4.1) High temperature valve -- t>450°
4.2) Medium temperature valve --120°≤t≤450°
4.3) Normal temperature valve -- -40°≤t≤120°
4.4) Low temperature valve -- -40°≤t≤-100°
4.5) Superlow temperature valve -- t≤-100°
5.Classification by valve body material classification
5.1) Non-metallic material valve-Such as ceramic valves. Glass steel valves, plastic valves.
5.2) Metallic material valve-Such as steel alloy valve, aluminum alloy valve, aluminum alloy valve, titanium alloy valve, monel alloy valve.
