Heat exchanger 

Heat exchanger is a device that transfers part of the heat of hot fluid to cold fluid. Heat exchanger is a general equipment in chemical industry, petroleum, power, food and many other industrial departments, which plays an important role in production. In chemical production, heat exchanger can be used as heater, cooler, condenser, evaporator and reboiler.

Principle: Heat is always spontaneously transmitted from high-temperature objects to low-temperature objects.

Application: cooling and heating. For example, if the circulating cooling water of the diesel engine needs to be cooled and the cabin air needs to be heated, the heat of the cooling water can be transferred to the air through a heat exchanger, and the air takes away the heat of the cooling water. In this way, the cooling water temperature can be reduced, the diesel engine can be continuously cooled, and the air temperature can be increased to supply the cabin for heating. 

Heat exchangers can be divided into the following types.

1. Plate type Heat Exchanger: It is composed of high-efficiency heat transfer corrugated plates and frames.

2. Finned Tube heat exchanger: also known as radiator, is the most widely used heat exchange equipment in gas and liquid heat exchanger.

3. Spiral plate heat exchanger: It is a kind of high-efficiency heat exchanger equipment, which is suitable for steam steam, steam liquid and liquid-liquid heat transfer.

4. Plate-Fin Heat Exchanger: It is usually composed of diaphragm, fin, seal and deflector..

5. Tube type heat exchanger: According to the material, it is divided into carbon steel tubular heat exchanger, stainless steel tubular heat exchanger and carbon steel and stainless steel mixed tubular heat exchanger. 

6. Box Cooler: It is installed in the submarine valve box of the hull to allow the circulating cooling water of the machine to transfer heat to the seawater (or river water) entering and leaving the submarine valve box outside the ship, so as to realize cooling.
