32.5㎡ Plate Heat Exchanger

Marine plate heat exchanger is a compact and efficient cooling device specifically designed for use in shipboard systems, such as engine cooling, lubrication oil cooling, fuel oil conditioning, and central cooling circuits. It consists of a series of corrugated metal plates stacked and sealed within a frame, creating separate flow channels for two fluids—typically seawater and freshwater or oil. The corrugations promote turbulence, significantly enhancing heat transfer rates while maintaining a small footprint, which is critical in the confined machinery spaces of vessels. Manufactured with corrosion-resistant materials like titanium or stainless steel to withstand harsh marine environments and saline conditions, marine plate heat exchangers offer high thermal efficiency, easy maintenance (plates can be added or cleaned individually), and reduced weight compared to traditional shell-and-tube designs, making them ideal for modern marine and offshore applications.
