Product Introduction:
The Double Ferrule Bulkhead Union (also referred to as Bulkhead Fitting or Through-Bulkhead Connector) is a specialized tube fitting designed for secure and leak‑free pipe connections through bulkheads, panels, or walls in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Its unique bulkhead design allows the fitting to be mounted on a partition, with threads on both sides to fasten it firmly in place, ensuring excellent sealing performance and mechanical strength even in demanding environments.
Key Design Features:
At the heart of this fitting is the double ferrule gripping mechanism, which consists of a front ferrule and a rear ferrule. When the nut is tightened, the front ferrule creates a primary seal by biting into the tube wall, while the rear ferrule provides a strong mechanical grip to resist vibration, pressure surges, and tube pull‑out. This dual‑ferrule design ensures reliable, maintenance‑free connections that can be repeatedly assembled and disassembled without compromising performance.
