Product Introduction:
The End Beam Motor is a compact, high-performance drive unit specifically designed for the end carriages of overhead cranes, gantry cranes, and monorail systems. As the core component responsible for the crane travel motion (also known as the long-travel or bridge movement), the end beam motor converts electrical power into mechanical torque to drive the crane smoothly along the runway rails.
Engineered for heavy-duty industrial environments, this motor is typically configured as an integrated "three-in-one" drive system that combines a high-efficiency electric motor, a helical-gear reducer, and a fail-safe electromagnetic brake into a single, space-saving housing. This integrated design eliminates the need for separate couplings or additional mounting brackets, simplifying installation and reducing maintenance requirements.
The end beam motor is available in a wide power range — typically from 0.2 kW to 15 kW — to suit crane capacities from 1 ton up to 50 tons or more.
