Product Introduction:
The Electric Pulley for Electric Chain Hoist is an innovative powered drive unit designed to replace or supplement traditional chain wheel assemblies in electric chain hoist systems. Unlike a passive chain guide or idler pulley, this electric pulley integrates a high-efficiency motor, precision gear train, and load-sensing electronics into a compact, wheel-shaped housing. When installed on an electric chain hoist — especially low‑headroom or space‑constrained configurations — it actively drives the load chain, reduces chain wear, and enables smoother lifting with better positional control.
Engineered for hoist capacities from 2 t to 10 t, the Electric Pulley can be used as a bolt‑on powered assist module for standard hoists or as a key component in custom low‑headroom lifting systems. Its motor is fully enclosed, IP55 rated, and equipped with an electromagnetic brake. The pulley’s chain pockets are machined to match ISO/grade V alloy chains, ensuring positive engagement without slipping or sprocket skipping.
