Surface Preparation:
All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry, and free from contamination. High-pressure fresh water washing or appropriate fresh water washing should be carried out, and all oil, grease, soluble contaminants, and other foreign matter must be removed in accordance with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning standard.
Abrasive Blast Cleaning For Steel:
Steel surfaces should be abrasive blast cleaned to Sa2.5 (GB/T 8923.1-2011). If oxidation has occurred between blasting and the application of H45-ZF101G, the surface should be reblasted to the specified visual standard. Surface defects revealed by the blast cleaning process should be ground, filled, or treated in the appropriate manner.
Mechanical Cleaning For Steel (Repair):
Areas to be repaired should be cleaned to St3 (GB/T 8923.2-2008) by mechanical methods. The area immediately surrounding the repair should be abraded to provide a key for subsequent coating application, and overlap areas should be kept to a minimum.
Mechanical Cleaning For Concrete:
Concrete surfaces can be abraded by power tool or washed by low-pressure water to remove loose concrete, attached organisms, mud, and other contaminants. If necessary, scrubbing with scour or chemical washing should be employed to remove oils, grease, wax, fatty acids, and other contaminants. Storage And Shelf Life:
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight, fire, and heat sources. Containers must remain tightly sealed. At 25℃, the product has a minimum shelf life of 12 months (subject to re-inspection thereafter).
Limitations:
1.Apply only in good weather conditions. The surface temperature must be at least 3℃ above the dew point, and ambient relative humidity should be below 85%.
2.In common with all epoxy-based coatings, H45-ZF101G will exhibit chalking of the film upon UV exposure. It should therefore be topcoated for exterior applications where UV resistance is required.
3.Drying times and overcoating intervals may vary due to on-site environmental conditions.
4.Avoid prolonged inhalation of solvent vapors or paint spray. Prevent skin and eye contact. Ensure adequate ventilation and fire prevention measures during application.
