Product Description
8×19 Steel Wire Rope For Elevators
Product Introduction:
Our 8×19S+FC Steel Wire Rope represents an advanced solution specifically engineered for modern elevator systems. Compared to traditional 6-strand ropes, the 8-strand structure provides a perfectly round, more flexible cross-section. This 8-strand design significantly increases the rope's contact area with the traction sheave, resulting in lower specific contact pressure. Consequently, it dramatically reduces wear on both the rope and the sheave grooves, ensuring a smoother, quieter, and more stable elevator ride.
Seale Structural Excellence:
The "S" in the model (8X19S) refers to the Seale construction within each strand. It features a (1+6+12) wire arrangement: a central wire, surrounded by a middle layer of thicker steel wires, and an outer layer of thinner steel wires.
*Enhanced Durability: The outer layer of fine wires creates an exceptionally smooth surface, minimizing friction and extending service life.
*Exceptional Flexibility: The internal thicker wires provide robust tensile strength, while the internal Fiber Core (FC) works as a natural shock absorber.
