Introduction of NS2589 Mooring Chock for Ships

NS2589 Mooring Chock, sometimes also call NS2589 Panama Chock or Closed Chock, is a special type of hawse hole at a vessel's bow.

NS series mooring chocks are designed as per the Norwegian Standard, also meet with the working loads specified by the Panama Canal Authority.

There are two sizes for option, 300X250 and 400X250, the first one is a Panama single chock and is capable of withstanding a certain stress from a towing wire in any direction.

The last one is a large Panama double chock and is capable of withstanding a certain stress  from the towing wires in any direction.

All our NS2589 Panama Closed Chock can be delivered with any IACS certificate like CCS, BV, LR, DNV, NK etc.
