Our 6×29 Class Round Strand Wire Rope is engineered to deliver an optimal balance between strength, flexibility, and wear resistance for demanding marine environments. The Filler Wire (Fi) strand design – six strands each containing 29 wires with additional filler wires compacting the cross‑section – provides a larger metallic area than standard 6×37 ropes, resulting in higher breaking loads and enhanced abrasion resistance, while the extra wires (compared to 6×25Fi) offer improved flexibility and bending fatigue performance. This makes it an excellent all‑round choice for shipboard applications that require both durability and manoeuvrability.

Manufactured in strict accordance with GB/T 20118‑2017, the rope is available in two core configurations:

*FC (Fibre Core) – provides superior shock absorption and internal lubrication, ideal for dynamic and multi‑plane bending.

*IWRC (Independent Wire Rope Core) – delivers exceptional crush resistance and maximum tensile strength, suited for heavy‑duty lifting and multi‑layer spooling.

Specification Highlights:

1.Diameter range: 8 mm – 120 mm (nominal), with custom sizes on request.

2.Tensile grades: 1670 MPa, 1770 MPa, 1870 MPa, and 1960 MPa – offering breaking loads and approximate weights (per 100 m) as per the standard tables (actual weight tolerance ≤ ±6 %).

3.Surface finish: Hot‑dip galvanised as standard for superior corrosion protection in saltwater; bright (uncoated) finish also available upon request.
