OCIMF Smit Brackets , also call towing and mooring brackets, is a kind of deck equipment which designed and manufactured to Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) guidelines, for using in all emergency towing situations, either within a towing system, or used individually for chain connections on a vessel or barge.
A comprehensive range of size of CIMF Smit Brackets were designed to suit most sized anchors and chains for different marine applications,including single point mooring (SPM) and emergency towing applications.
OCIMF Smit Brackets can be welded on the aftdeck, connected with end link or pear shape link of chafe chain for towing purpose.
