Cruciform Bollard, sometimes also call ship's cross bitts, is also a type of ship's mooring and towing fittings used on board.

As the name indicates, JIS F2804 Cruciform Bollard is designed and manufactured according to Japanese Industrial Standard and was used for tugging,mooring,cargo handling,boat handling etc

As per JIS F2804 standard, the cross bitts shall be free from detrimental defects and be welded soundly with the least strain as far as possible on the external apperanace.
