JIS F2032 Chain Stopper, also known as Cable stopper or Chain cable compressor, was made from high quality cast steel and finished with very good workmanship.

A full range sizes of chain cable stopper was designed to be installed on any type of vessels, both newbuilds as well as retrofits on existing vessels.

Chain cable stopper is a device which is secured to the ship's structure separate from the cable lifter,for the purpose of securing a chain cable against the tention from the anchor. The stopper also serves as a guide for the chain cable during operation.

The chain stopper holds the anchor while the ship is underway and guides the chain during anchoring manoeuvres. During anchoring, the chain stopper withstands the forces from the anchor, so the anchor winch is protected.

 Marine chain stoppers for marine mooring and emergency towing system applications are available with or without a plinth.
