Introduction of JIS F2031 Pawl Type Chain Stopper

Chain Stopper, also known as Cable stopper or Chain cable compressor, which can be installed on any type of vessels, both newbuilds as well as retrofits on existing vessels.

Pawl type chain stopper is designed according to the standard of JIS F2031.  Chain stopper can fix the anchor chain and prevent it slip out. It also has the function to transfer the pull strength of anchor and chain to the vessel and then reduce the working load of windlass. Chain stoppers should withstand 80% of chain cable's minimum breaking load.

JIS F2031 Pawl Type chain stopper was made from high quality cast steel and finished with very good workmanship. A variety of size was designed to meet different marine applications.
