The Type A Sound Absorbing Lining Panel is a high-performance acoustic treatment panel specifically engineered for marine, industrial, and commercial environments where noise reduction and fire safety are critical. Unlike standard soundproofing panels that block noise transmission, this sound absorbing panel is designed to reduce reverberation and echo by trapping and dissipating sound energy within its structure.

Featuring a Type A construction with perforated steel facers on both sides and a high-density sound-absorbing core, this panel meets SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) requirements and IMO FTP Code Part 3 for A-class divisions. It is ideal for installation on bulkheads, deckheads (ceilings), and machinery space linings where noise control is essential for crew comfort, communication safety, and regulatory compliance.
