Product Description
Mainline Hose Without Collars
Product Introduction:
The Mainline Hose Without Collars is a lightweight, corrosion-free subsea hose engineered for the reliable transfer of crude oil, natural gas (NG), and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in offshore environments. Unlike traditional collared designs, this hose achieves end reinforcement entirely through internal material enhancements—additional textile plies, a thicker inner liner, and optimized helix wire density—eliminating the need for external metal collars. The result is a hose that is lower in cost, easier to handle, and immune to galvanic corrosion, making it the preferred choice for shallow to medium-depth subsea applications where moderate dynamic loads prevail.

Key Features:
1.Collarless End Reinforcement
Both ends are reinforced using built‑up internal layers rather than external metal collars. This provides dependable pull-out resistance without the complexity and weight of mechanical clamping devices.
2.Zero Galvanic Corrosion
With no metal collars exposed to seawater, there is no risk of galvanic corrosion. No sacrificial anodes, no cathodic protection, and no periodic collar inspection are required—significantly reducing long-term maintenance.
3.Up to 15% Lighter
The elimination of heavy metal collars reduces overall hose weight by 10–15% compared to collared equivalents. This lowers crane capacity requirements, simplifies deck handling, and reduces installation time.
4.Superior Bending Fatigue Life
Without stiff metal collars, the hose ends retain natural flexibility, distributing bending stresses more evenly. This results in better resistance to fatigue failure in dynamic subsea environments with wave-induced motion or current-driven oscillation.
5.Proven Hydrostatic Collapse Resistance
Designed to withstand external pressure at depths up to 100 meters (customizable to 200 meters). The internally reinforced ends resist ovalization and collapse without external mechanical support.
6.Full Medium Compatibility
*Crude Oil: NBR inner liner – resistant to hydrocarbons with aromatic content ≤50% by volume.
*Natural Gas (NG): Gas‑tight liner compounds with ultra‑low permeation.
*LPG: Special low‑temperature rubber rated for -50°C to +100°C and high vapour pressure.
7.Marine-Grade Outer Cover
CSM (Hypalon®), CR (Neoprene), or polyurethane outer cover – resistant to seawater, marine growth, abrasion, UV, and ozone. Smooth black finish with optional orange spiral stripe for visibility.
8.Customizable Buoyancy
Closed‑cell foam flotation layer can be tuned for:
*Negative buoyancy – stable seabed laydown.
*Neutral buoyancy – mid‑water suspension to reduce top tension.
*Positive buoyancy – surface or near‑surface floating strings.
9.High Flow Capacity
Smooth seamless inner liner supports continuous flow velocities up to 21 m/s without erosion or turbulence-induced vibration.
