Product Introduction
The Marine Input Module is a critical interface device within an intelligent addressable fire alarm system onboard vessels. Its primary function is to monitor conventional, non-addressable fire detection devices or status signals from other systems and seamlessly integrate them into the central addressable fire alarm control panel.
The module is designed to receive a change-of-state signal from conventional devices such as manual call points, heat detectors, or waterflow switches from the sprinkler system. It then converts this signal into a digital communication that is transmitted to the main control panel, identifying itself with a unique address to pinpoint the location and nature of the alarm or fault.
