Product Description
Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Rope
Product Introduction:
Our Marine UHMWPE Rope is manufactured from 100% Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, widely recognized as one of the strongest and most durable synthetic fibers available today. This high-performance rope is specifically engineered for demanding marine, offshore, and fishing applications where traditional ropes fail.
Advanced Torque-Free Construction:
Unlike standard braided ropes, this rope features a unique hollow braided construction. It is meticulously woven using 6 strands each of "S" and "Z" twist directions. This counter-rotating design effectively eliminates twisting and rotation under load, ensuring the rope remains perfectly balanced, does not kink, and maintains its structural integrity during heavy mooring operations.

Key Features & Benefits:
1.Superior Strength & Lightweight: Made from UHMWPE fiber, offering an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.
2.Floating Design: With a specific density of 0.975, the rope floats on water, making it highly visible and preventing loss overboard.
3.Zero Water Absorption: Wet strength equals dry strength. The rope does not absorb water, ensuring consistent performance in wet environments.
4.Outstanding Durability: Excellent abrasion resistance, very good UV resistance, and very good chemical resistance.
5.Temperature Resilience: Melting point of 145°C, with a recommended maximum continuous working environment of 70°C.
6.Low Elongation: Engineered for minimal stretch under load (as shown in the UHMWPE Technology Comparison graph), providing excellent load control and precise handling for mooring and towing.
7.Easy to Splice: Hollow braid construction allows for quick and secure splicing. (Note: Knot strength loss is 10%, so splicing is highly recommended over knotting).
8.Customizable: Available in yellow (other colors available upon request) and customizable lengths and diameters. Standard length is 220m per coil with a 5% weight and length tolerance.
Typical Applications:
*Marine mooring and towing.
*Offshore marine engineering.
*Commercial fishing and aquaculture.
*Ship anchoring and docking.
*Heavy lifting and rigging.
Colour & Customisation:
*Standard colour: yellow (high visibility and universally accepted in the maritime industry)
*Custom colours (e.g., blue, red, orange,, green, or striped patterns) are available on request for easy identification
Certifications:
Our ropes are manufactured under strict quality control systems and can be supplied with classification society approval certificates from leading international bodies such as DNV, ABS, LR, BV, and CCS upon request. These certifications ensure full compliance with international maritime regulations, port state controls, and insurance underwriter requirements, giving you complete operational peace of mind.
