Product Description
Nylon Double Braided Mooring Tails
Product Introduction:
Our Nylon Double Braided Mooring Tails are made from premium high-tenacity nylon for reliable, heavy-duty mooring performance. The double braided design combines a strong nylon core with a durable, abrasion-resistant nylon cover, delivering high breaking strength, excellent flexibility, and outstanding shock absorption. When wind, waves, or tide create sudden loads, the nylon tail stretches to absorb energy and reduce stress on cleats, bollards, dock lines, and onboard hardware.
Each mooring tail is professionally spliced with a secure eye, and optional stainless steel thimbles or chafe guards can be added for extra protection. The rope resists UV, saltwater, rot, mildew, and common marine chemicals, making it ideal for docking, mooring, anchoring, storm lines, and permanent berth applications. Available in custom diameters, lengths, colors, and eye configurations to match your boat and docking system.

Applications:
Nylon Double Braided Mooring Tails are widely used in marine mooring systems to absorb shock loads, reduce stress on hardware, and improve safety during berthing.
1. Dock and Pier Mooring:Used for securing yachts, sailboats, motorboats, and workboats to docks, piers, and pontoons.
2. Marina and Permanent Berth Mooring:Ideal for long-term or seasonal berthing in marinas, yacht clubs, and private berths.
3. Storm and Heavy-Weather Mooring:The nylon tail stretches to absorb wind gusts, waves, and surge, protecting cleats, bollards, and dock lines.
4. Tidal and Water-Level Change Mooring:Its elasticity compensates for tide changes and vessel movement, helping maintain proper line tension.
5. Mooring Buoy and Anchoring Systems:Used as a tail between mooring buoys, anchor chains, or ground tackle and the vessel.
6. Ship-to-Ship and Rafting Mooring:Suitable for vessel-to-vessel mooring, rafting, and temporary harbor operations.
7. Commercial Vessel and Workboat Mooring:sed on tugs, barges, ferries, fishing boats, pilot boats, and other working vessels.
Colour & Customisation:
*Standard colour: White (high visibility and universally accepted in the maritime industry)
*Custom colours (e.g., blue, red, orange, yellow, green, or striped patterns) are available on request for easy identification
