Product Description
Polyester Filament Nonwoven Geotextile
Product Introduction:
Polyester Filament Needle-Punched Geotextile is made from virgin polyester chips. Continuous filaments are extruded directly from polyester chips by machine via the spunbond process. PET Long Fiber Nonwoven Geotextile is needle-punched together to form a stable 3D structure with higher strength fabric. Therefore, Nonwoven Geotextile Fibers have high strength, excellent creep properties, erosion resistance, aging resistance, and heat resistance.
Geotextiles are permeable nonwoven fabrics used to separate, filter, reinforce, protect, or drain. Geotextiles allow filtration or separation of granular layers in road and rail applications, protect membranes in landfill applications, are used in coastal defense applications, and protect surfaces and structures from weeds and root growth in landscaping. Geotextiles are available as woven and non-woven. For liner protection against physical damage, nonwovens are typically the preferred choice. They are made of polyester or polypropylene fibers arranged in random directions and needle-punched during manufacturing. Geotextiles are commonly used to separate layers such as clay and drainage layers, and to protect liners from damage.
