Product introduction

Information on ZB type non-metallic fabric fiber compensator: This product is mainly suitable for vibration damping of large fans and pipelines in steel plants, power plants, cement plants, chemical plants, etc., and has good high temperature resistance.


Main materials composition

The ZB type non-metallic fabric fiber compensator is made of a variety of materials, including high-performance silicone cloth (fluoropolymer cloth), polytetrafluoroethylene, alkali-free glass fiber cloth, ultrafine glass wool with good thermal insulation properties, and aluminum silicate wool (ceramic fiber blanket for high temperature), through a special process.

Large Compensation Capacity: A single compensator can meet the needs of multi-dimensional system compensation.


No Reverse Thrust: Due to the flexibility of its material, it can unconditionally absorb the thermal expansion thrust of the preceding pipe section without transmitting it to the following section.


High Temperature and Corrosion Resistance: The silicone cloth (fluoropolymer cloth), fiberglass, and PTFE materials used have excellent high temperature and corrosion resistance.


Noise and Vibration Reduction: Non-metallic materials such as fiber fabrics have excellent sound absorption and vibration isolation functions, effectively reducing noise and vibration generated by equipment such as boilers and fans.

Technical Requirements

1. The non-metallic fabric fiber compensator should be able to operate safely for a long period, with a service life of not less than 6 years (7500 operating hours per year).


The allowable fatigue life of the non-metallic fabric fiber compensator at room temperature should be not less than 1000 cycles (fatigue life safety factor not less than 15).


2. The non-metallic fabric fiber compensator should be able to absorb all axial and lateral displacements of the connected equipment and flue gas ducts under all operating and accident conditions.


3. All non-metallic fabric fiber compensators should be designed to withstand various high-temperature displacement ranges without damage or leakage,


with built-in stainless steel wire mesh, and able to withstand the maximum possible design positive and negative pressure plus a 1.25 times margin.


4. The material of the non-metallic fabric fiber compensator in the flue gas duct should meet the requirements of withstanding the high temperature of flue gas and air, as well as the corrosion and abrasion caused by flue gas.


The seal between the non-metallic fabric fiber compensator and the flue gas duct should be 100% airtight. The internal insulation of the non-metallic fabric compensator in the flue gas duct should take into account the characteristics of the flue gas.


5. Non-metallic fabric fiber compensators on flues and ducts are for outdoor installation; their materials must meet all original design requirements provided in this annex.


Special attention should be paid to ensuring the materials can withstand low outdoor temperatures in winter.


6. The outer surface temperature of the non-metallic fabric fiber compensator skin should not exceed 70°C.
