Product Description
Double Braided Polyester Rope
Product Introduction:
The Double Braided Polyester Rope is a premium marine rope engineered for demanding mooring, anchoring, towing, and offshore applications. It is manufactured from high-tenacity polyester multifilament on advanced double-braiding equipment with a fully automated, computer-controlled process. The unique double-braided construction consists of a braided core protected by a braided outer jacket, delivering excellent structural integrity, balanced load distribution, and reliable performance in harsh marine environments.
This rope combines high breaking strength with low elongation, making it ideal for applications where stable length and precise positioning are required. The polyester material offers excellent resistance to abrasion, UV radiation, seawater, and common marine chemicals. It remains flexible and easy to handle, splice, and coil, reducing crew fatigue and improving operational efficiency. Unlike polypropylene ropes, polyester rope has a specific density greater than 1.0 and will sink in water, which is advantageous for anchoring and subsea applications.
The Double Braided Polyester Rope is widely used in ship mooring and anchoring, tug and towing operations, ocean transportation, port handling, offshore oil exploration, defense and naval operations, fishing, and mining. It is available in standard white and can be customized in other colors to meet specific visibility, branding, or operational requirements. Classification society certificates are available to satisfy international marine procurement standards.

Key Advantages:
1.Double Braided Construction: Braided core and braided jacket provide high strength, durability, and shape retention.
2.Low Elongation: Offers stable length under load, ideal for mooring and positioning.
3.Excellent Abrasion Resistance: The outer jacket protects the core against wear from chocks, fairleads, winches, and quay edges.
4.UV and Weather Resistant: Suitable for long-term exposure to sunlight, saltwater, and harsh weather.
5.Flexible and Easy to Handle: Soft yet strong, making splicing, coiling, and winch operation simple and efficient.
6.Chemical Resistance: Good resistance to seawater, rot, mildew, and many common marine chemicals.
7.Sinking Type: The specific density above 1.0 allows the rope to sink, suitable for anchoring and subsea use.
8.Wide Application: Suitable for naval equipment, ship outfitting, ocean transportation, offshore oil, mining, fishing, and more.
Applications:
1.Ship Mooring and Anchoring: Main mooring lines, spring lines, breast lines, head lines, stern lines, and anchor rodes for commercial vessels, naval ships, and workboats.
2.Tug and Towing Operations: Main towlines, bridles, pendant lines, and escort lines for harbor tugs, ocean-going tugs, and salvage operations.
3.Ocean Transportation: Barge towage, deck cargo lashing, ship-to-ship transfer, and securing heavy project cargo.
4.Port Handling and Cargo Securing: Mooring lines, guide lines, tag lines, fender lines, and cargo lashing in terminals and shipyards.
5.Offshore Oil Exploration: Anchor handling, rig mooring, platform supply, and offshore installation support.
6.Defense and Naval Operations: Berthing, mooring, replenishment-at-sea, rescue, and target towing lines for warships, submarines, and auxiliaries.
7.Fishing and Mining: Net lines, mooring lines, haulage ropes, and general utility ropes.
