Permanent Deployment Oil Containment Booms
Permanent Oil Containment Boom (also known as Hardboom or Permanent Boom) was designed for long exposure deployment or frequent deployments in sheltered waters.
They do not require inflation and are durable and resistant to abrasion and marine growth.
Permanent Oil Containment Boom usually put in place to protect sensitive areas that could be extremely difficult or costly to clean up. In frequent deployments it’s normally used in ports to surround vessels that are loading or offloading any kind of hydrocarbon or fuel numerous times per week. It can be left in the water and deployed around vessels on a daily basis without affecting the product.
