Product Introduction:

The Double Braided PET and PP Rope is a high-performance marine rope designed for a wide range of demanding applications, including mooring, anchoring, towing, and offshore operations. It is manufactured using advanced double-braiding technology, combining the strengths of PET (polyethylene terephthalate, a polyester) and PP (polypropylene) fibers in a unique composite construction. The double-braided design features a braided core for high tensile strength and a braided outer jacket for superior protection against abrasion, UV radiation, and external wear.

The PET component contributes high breaking strength, low elongation, excellent abrasion resistance, and good UV stability. The PP component adds lightness, buoyancy, chemical resistance, and flexibility. By carefully balancing these two materials, the rope achieves a combination of properties that is difficult to match with a single-fiber rope: it is strong yet lightweight, durable yet flexible, and resistant to seawater, rot, mildew, and many common marine chemicals. The rope is easy to splice, coil, and handle, reducing crew fatigue and improving operational efficiency.

Depending on the blend ratio, the rope can be designed to float or sink, making it adaptable to different marine applications. It is an excellent upgrade and replacement for traditional 3-strand and 8-strand ropes.
