Steel Type Navigation Buoys
Product Description
Steel Type Navigation Buoys
Navigation buoys play an important role in supporting water transportation, fisheries, marine development and national defense construction.
The Maritime Safety Administration exercises unified management and maintenance over coastal navigation marks. Inland navigation marks are constructed, managed and maintained by the waterway management agencies under the traffic management departments.
Navigation buoys are set up in navigable waters and their vicinity to indicate waterways, anchorages, obstructions, shoals, etc., or as positioning and turning marks, etc. Navigation marks are also used to convey signals, such as indicating water depth, predicting wind conditions, and directing traffic in narrow waterways.
The location, characteristics, light quality, and signals of permanent navigation marks are all included in the navigation mark tables and nautical charts published by various countries. Modern navigation buoys are mainly divided into two categories: sea area navigation marks and inland river navigation marks.
1. This design is based on the "Buoy" (JT/T760-2009) of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China. During the construction of the buoy, the buoy diameter, draft, total height, lamp base height from the waterline, float steel plate thickness, buoy weight, center of gravity, buoy center, and center of gravity should meet the requirements of (JT/T760-2009).
2. The buoy must be made of marine steel plates. The lamp holders of the same type of buoys should be interchangeable. The buoy should be tested for airtightness before painting. The pressure is 0.020MPa, and the pressure is maintained for 10 minutes without any leakage.
3. Use shot blasting or electric light brush to remove rust. After removing welding slag, burrs and rust, the surface of the buoy is painted according to the standard.
