FEP Chemical Hose
Product Description
FEP Chemical Hose
Product Introduction:
FEP Chemical Hose is a high-performance industrial hose designed for the safe and reliable transfer of aggressive chemicals, corrosive acids, high-purity fluids, and high-temperature media. Featuring an inner tube made of FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) , a melt-processable fluoroplastic, this hose delivers exceptional chemical resistance, outstanding thermal stability, and a non-stick surface that outperforms conventional rubber, PVC, and even UHMWPE hoses in demanding applications.

Key Features:
1.Superior Chemical Resistance – The FEP inner tube provides excellent resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, including strong mineral acids (sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, hydrofluoric), alkalis, solvents, hydrocarbons, oxidizing agents, and corrosive gases. It is inert to most substances, ensuring long service life even in the harshest environments.
2.Wide Temperature Range – Suitable for continuous service from -60°C to +150°C (-76°F to +302°F), and capable of handling even higher temperatures intermittently. This makes the FEP chemical hose ideal for both cryogenic and high-temperature fluid transfer.
3.Ultra-Smooth, Non-Stick Inner Surface – The extremely low friction coefficient of FEP minimizes pressure loss, reduces pumping energy requirements, and prevents material buildup, clogging, or cross-contamination. This is particularly critical for high-purity, viscous, or sticky media.
4.Excellent Anti-Corrosion & Anti-Aging Properties – FEP is inherently resistant to UV radiation, ozone, weathering, and chemical aging, ensuring reliable performance in outdoor or aggressive industrial environments without degradation.
5.Reinforced Construction – Typically reinforced with multiple layers of high-strength synthetic textile braids and a helix wire (stainless steel or galvanized) for full vacuum resistance, kink prevention, and static dissipation. Many models include a conductive layer or static wire for antistatic safety when handling flammable fluids.
6.Flexible & Lightweight – Compared to PTFE hoses, FEP hoses are more flexible and easier to handle while maintaining similar chemical and thermal performance. They are also lighter than rubber hoses of equivalent pressure ratings.
