Gangway ladder is a ladder that providing a means of entering or leaving a ship, sometimes, it also name as whaft ladder, or access board or accommodation ladder, but there are many different designs for it.

 

Ship gangway ladder mainly consist of ladder body, stanchion, handrail, roller, upper platform, lower platform, etc...gangway ladder winch can aslo supply if required. Below are few main type gangway ladders for reference:

 

 

1. Level plate type wharf ladder, like below picture, it is very sample, with roller at one side, another side with hook, include stanchion and handrail and rope.

 

2. Truss type wharf ladder, like below picture, this structure similar to lever plate type, but the ladder body with more complicated design and more steady and strong.

Usually for new gangway ladder using in new vessel, it should have some sketch drawing with dimension details, type and accessaries details.. if want a gangway ladder just use to replace the old ladder on boat, better to send old ladder pictures for reference so that can quote a right one.
