Pneumatic fenders are the most appropriate anti collision device for marine use.  They are made of synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheet with compressed air inside, at initial pressure of 50kPa or 80kPa, to enable it to float on the water.

Pneumatic fenders can be supplied as sling type as well as with chain tyre net so as to protect fender's body.   Type I sling-type rubber fenders are to be used without a protection net, easy to handle them because of their light weight.   Type II Net-type pneumatic fenders covered by a protection net consisting of either chain, wire or fiber and usually with tires or rubber sleeves.

These fenders are designed according to ISO1757 standard and work as a shock absorber between two ships, or between ships and berthing structures when they come alongside each other on the water.

Type I: Sling Type

Type II: Net-Type
