12-Strand Reduced Recoil HMPE Rope
Product Description
12-Strand Reduced Recoil HMPE Rope
Product Introduction:
The 12-Strand Reduced Recoil HMPE Rope is a high-performance synthetic mooring solution designed to replace traditional steel wire ropes and conventional chemical fiber ropes. Engineered with an innovative internal elastic component, this rope delivers exceptional safety by significantly reducing recoil risk (snap-back) compared to steel wire.
Despite having a strength equivalent to steel wire of the same diameter, it weighs only one-eighth as much. This drastic weight reduction, combined with a smaller diameter than traditional synthetic ropes, makes handling, splicing, and inspection remarkably easy. It ultimately saves valuable time during mooring operations and reduces vessel fuel consumption.
Key Features & Benefits:
1.Enhanced Safety: Significantly reduces rebound risk, protecting crew and equipment during snap-back incidents.
2.Lightweight & Easy to Handle: 1/8 the weight of steel wire, allowing for effortless operation, splicing, and inspection.
3.Superior Stability: Does not twist under load, offering higher structural stability and low elongation.
4.Cost & Time Efficient: Saves mooring time and lowers fuel consumption due to reduced weight and smaller diameter.
5.Excellent Durability: Outstanding resistance to UV radiation, chemicals, and harsh marine environments.
