Product Description
Marine Lubricating Oil Fine Filter Device
Product Introduction
Environmental requirements in the shipping industry are becoming increasingly stringent. The IMO has established energy efficiency rating evaluations such as EEDI and EEXI for newbuildings and existing ships, with similar regulations being gradually introduced and implemented. This has driven technological advancements in energy-saving and emission-reduction equipment and systems across multiple fronts. However, most of these technologies require relatively high investments, and retrofitting them on existing ships often entails significant modifications, along with lengthy construction periods.
Our company has developed a marine lubricating oil/hydraulic oil filtration device by integrating customer needs and regulatory requirements. After deep purification of the lubricating and hydraulic oils, it achieves the benefit of saving diesel engine fuel, reducing wear on moving parts, and improving equipment operational reliability. Additionally, the device features easy installation and a short cost recovery period.
The device is connected in parallel to the lubricating oil/hydraulic oil system and operates independently without causing any interference to the original system. For diesel engines with approximately 8,000 kW power output, the energy-saving benefits after installation can recover the investment cost in about 12 months.
Further optimization of traditional lubrication oil/hydraulic oil purification methods
Currently, there are two traditional purification methods for marine oil products: centrifugal and permeable. These conventional purification methods struggle to remove insoluble particles below 25 microns in oil products.
This product captures insoluble particles as small as 1 micron in oil through adsorption and filtration, achieving comprehensive protection of the oil film, thereby improving mechanical efficiency, reducing abrasion of tooth, and lowering fuel consumption.
