Product Description
Double Braided Polyamide And Polypropylene Rope
Product Introduction:
The Double Braided Polyamide/Polypropylene Composite Rope is a premium hybrid synthetic rope engineered for demanding marine and industrial applications. Manufactured using advanced German equipment and fully automated computerized production systems, this rope features a unique double-layer braided construction that delivers a performance improvement of over 15% compared to conventional 3-strand and 8-strand ropes. The innovative design combines a polyamide (nylon) outer cover with a polypropylene multifilament inner core, harnessing the complementary strengths of both materials to provide exceptional abrasion resistance, controlled elongation, lightweight handling, and optimized buoyancy.
Recognised as a National New Product and a provincial High-Tech Product, and protected by a national patent, this rope represents the ultimate upgrade for modern marine mooring and towing operations.
Construction & Design:
The rope features a double-braided (double-layer multi-ply) structure - a braided inner core enclosed by a tightly braided outer cover. This advanced construction ensures:
1.Balanced load distribution - The dual-layer braid maximises strength utilisation and minimises stress concentrations.
2.Non-rotating and non-kinking - The braided design eliminates twisting during operation, ensuring safe and smooth deployment.
3.Superior flexibility - The rope remains pliable and easy to splice, even in cold or wet conditions.
4.Optimised buoyancy - The polypropylene core provides near-neutral to floating characteristics, with a specific gravity of approximately 1.01 (standard) or 0.99 (upon special order).

Performance Advantages:
1.Enhanced Strength - The double-braided structure increases overall breaking strength by more than 15% compared to traditional 3- and 8-strand ropes.
2.Controlled Elongation - Provides predictable stretch characteristics for precise load control and shock absorption.
3.Superior Abrasion Resistance - The nylon cover offers exceptional resistance to chafing and abrasive surfaces, reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
4.Lightweight & Easy Handling - The polypropylene core reduces overall weight, simplifying splicing, coiling, and deployment.
5.Optimised Buoyancy - The composite design provides near-neutral buoyancy, making it ideal for applications where flotation is beneficial.
6.Low Splice Loss - Spliced strength loss is less than 10%, ensuring reliable terminations.
7.Consistent Quality - Weight and length tolerance within ±5%, with a standard coil length of 220 metres (custom lengths available).
8.Compliant with ISO 2307 - Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) is tested and certified per ISO 2307 standards.
