Product Description
Antifire Fireproof Sealant
Product Description
Antifire Fire-Rated Sealant is a high-performance, flexible sealant specifically engineered to prevent the spread of fire, smoke, and toxic gases through openings in fire-rated walls, floors, and ceilings. This intumescent sealant expands when exposed to heat, sealing gaps around penetrations such as cables, pipes, conduits, and ductwork. It is an essential component of any passive fire protection system, ensuring compartmentation and helping to save lives and property by containing fire at its source.

Working Principle
Working Principle
Under normal conditions, Antifire Sealant functions as a standard, flexible sealant. When a fire occurs and temperatures rise, the heat activates the intumescent properties of the material. It swells to many times its original volume, creating a dense, carbonaceous char. This char fills the penetration gap completely, providing an effective barrier against flames and extreme heat, thus maintaining the fire resistance rating of the wall or floor.
Applications
Commercial & Residential Buildings: Sealing openings in firewalls and floors for cables, pipes, and ducts.
Industrial Plants: Protecting penetrations in control rooms, cable trays, and containment areas.
Data Centers & Telecommunications: Critical for maintaining fire compartmentation in server rooms and around cable conduits.
Marine & Offshore: Used on ships and offshore platforms to meet stringent fire safety regulations.
Power Generation Stations: Sealing penetrations in fire-rated structures within plants and substations.
