The Description of Thermal Protective Aid

Marine Thermal Protective Aid (TPA) is made by aluminized polyethylene suit with heat sealed seams and it  protects from the elements and prevents hypothermia.

Below information is defined by Internation Life-Saving Appliance Code:

1.Thermal Protective Aid shall be made of waterproof material not exceeding 7800 W / (m K) heat-conductive and shall be so designed that they reduce both user convection and evaporative heat losses.

2.The thermal protective aid shall cover the whole body of the user in all size expect the face .Hands shoule cover unless with the permanently the gloves.

3.Can be easy to wear in the lifeboat or rescue boat .

4.If the thermal protective aid danage can not to swim.The user need to remove it from the water less then 2 mins .

5.The thermal protective aid shoule be use in the air temperature range -30°C to +20°C.


Every rescue boat need to have 2sets Thermal Protective Aid suits or 10% of the total carry capacity is better .Becasue the high visibility in the bad weather conditions so the suits color is Orange.
