Product Introduction

The Swivel Bend (also known as the Articulated Discharge Bend or Floating Pipeline Swivel) is a critical component of a Cutter Suction Dredger's discharge system. This specially engineered fitting connects the dredger's fixed pipeline to the floating discharge line, allowing for continuous rotation and articulation while maintaining a sealed flow path for slurry transport. Designed to accommodate the vessel's swinging motion during dredging operations and movement due to waves and currents, our heavy-duty swivel bend ensures uninterrupted material flow, reduces hose stress, and extends the service life of your entire discharge system.


Swivel bend provides flexibility between a cutter dredger and a floating pipeline which can swing left and right in a sector around the center of the pipe body, with a swing range of ± 40 °. The upper part of the bend is connected with the discharge pipeline, and the lower part is directly connected with the self floating rubber hose, which can offset the swing amplitude of the floating hose with waves on the sea.
