Sharing Shipment Photos of Enclosed Lifeboat and Davit

Deyuan Marine finished new order and delivery of 5m enclosed lifeboat with normal type and gravity arm type davit in this week. 

1. About Normal Type Totally Enclosed Lifeboat：

Normal Type Totally Enclosed Lifeboat/Rescue Boat has been designed and manufactured in accordance with LIFE-SAVING APPLIANCE CODE MSC.218(82)&MSC.272(85) and tested in accordance with MSC. 81(70) and its amendments MSC.226(82)& MSC.274(85)

The boat will be launched and recovered by the gravity davit. The helmsman inside can launch the boat through the control wire. For convenient boarding, two side doors are provided as the embarking way.

The boat is constructed of GRP with hand lay-up method. The hull, inner hull, canopy and the roof are separately moulded in "One Piece". The space between the hull and inner hull will be filled with P.U. foam as buoyancy tank.

All mats, woven roving, resins and the buoyancy foam have been approved by classification societies or administrations, and the resins are of self-extinguishing quality.

All the fittings and components are made of stainless steel, maritime grade aluminium, copper or galvanised steel. That makes the corrosion to a minimum degree.

2. Overview of Gravity luffing Arm Type Davit: 

Gravity Luffing/Hinged Gravity Arm Type Lifeboat Davit is a (hinged) type davit and it lowers the boat on the water by the help of its own weight(gravity davit).Gravity luffing arm davit is lowering lifeboat and rescue boat depending on boat self weight, and recovering the lifeboat and rescue boat using electric boat winch.The davit is designed for boarding the lifeboat in stowed position.The lifeboat may be lowered without stopping as turning out and lowering is a continuous movement at a mininum of time-spending.

The Gravity Luffing Arm Davit is lowering lifeboat and rescue boat depending on boat self weight, and recovering the lifeboat and rescue boat using electric boat winch. The winch with the motor is used for recovering the life boat with 2 persons or rescue boat with 6 persons and back to the boarding.
