The Three-sided Rudder Angle Indicator (Single Display) is a purpose-built navigation instrument designed to provide simultaneous rudder position visibility from multiple viewing angles using a single integrated display unit. This innovative design ensures that the critical rudder angle information is clearly accessible to the helmsman, officer on watch, and other crew members from various positions on the bridge without requiring multiple separate indicators.
Engineered with a precision-engineered prismatic or multi-faceted display window, this indicator presents the same accurate rudder angle reading (typically 35° port to 35° starboard) across three distinct viewing faces. All faces are driven by a single, reliable internal movement mechanism connected to the vessel's rudder angle transmitter, ensuring synchronization and eliminating potential reading discrepancies between multiple gauges.
Housed in a robust, marine-grade casing suitable for Wall Mounting, the unit is constructed to withstand the vibrations, humidity, and environmental challenges of the maritime environment. The high-contrast dial and illuminated markings on each viewing face guarantee excellent readability day and night, from the central console, starboard, and portside viewing angles.
