QLYB Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System
Product Description
QLYB Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System
Product Introduction
QLYB series ICCP system consists of constant potentiometer (control cabinet), auxiliary anodes and anode shield layer, reference electrodes and so on. The function of this system is to protect the hull under waterline against corrosion caused by seawater. The working principle is to provide DC via constant potentiometer. The positive polarity connects with auxiliary anode and the negative end connects with hull. The hull becomes polarized cathodically when loop forms through seawater. Hull potential is monitored and regulated by reference electrodes for proper protective potential to resist seawater corrosion. The ICCP system can regulate the protective current automatically as the circumstance out of the vessel changes, which brings the hull always within optimal protective potential range.
Application
The system is suitable for inhibiting corrosion of the steel surface of various types of ships, offshore platforms, floating docks and other damaged hull paint formation after and protect the hull steel from corrosion, replace the traditional zinc block cathodic protection.
Type Selection
The constant potentiometer of QLYB series ICCP system can be selected according to need50A、100A、200A、300A、400A、500A、600A,the auxiliary anodes is selected by 20A、25A、50A、100A、150A、200A.
