Marine Rescue Boat--One type Marine Life saving Equipment

Rescue boat is used to rescue people in distress and to build lifeboats, rafts and have good maneuverability of motor boats .In order to be able to rescue people in distress faster and more quickly and to build a survival craft at sea, ships must be equipped with rescue boats as required.

There are three type marine rescue boats

1.Rigid rescue boat .One type of common use rescue boat in our boat .

2.Inflatable rescue boat. Mainly made by rubber materials and subsidiary materials .

3.Rigid inflatable hybrid rescue boat. A rigid material in the manufacturing of the boat body material and rubber material of the rescue boat.

General requirements of marine rescue boat 

1.Must comply with the general requirements of the lifeboat

2.The length shall be not less than 3. 8 m, and no more than 8. 5 meters

3.Should can carry five to sit down and 1 lay personnel

4.Mixed with inflatable structure rigidity of rescue boat, shall comply with the applicable requirements, and by the competent authority for approval

5.Besides have enough sheer relief, the rescue boat should have no less than 15% an extension of the coxswain pudding cover

6.Rescue boat should be able to manipulate with speed to 6 nm, and keep the speed of at least 4 hours (rescue boat speed can be more than 6 nm)

7.Rescue boat should have enough mobility and maneuverability in the waves, so as to save people from water, gathered the raft, and can be down to 2 nm speed load of the towing ship equipped with full complement of the biggest life raft and fittings or equivalent weight

8.Rescue boat if installing outboard engines, rudder and the tiller can be part of the machine. Rescue boat can furnish has recognized the fuel system of petrol outboard engine, the fuel oil tank should be special fireproof and explosion protection

9.Towing device shall be permanently installed in the craft, its strength should be assembled into a load of the towing ship equipped with enough full complement of the biggest life raft and fittings or equivalent weight

10.The rescue boat should have store space.

Rescue boat outfit

1.More than 500tons passenger ship at least have one rescue boat in each side.

2.Less than 500tons passenger ship should have one rescue boat .

3.The cargo ship should have one rescue boat .

4.If the lifeboat meets the requirement of rescue boat, we can use the lifeboat as rescue boat.
