A. The rubber fender installed on the ship side shell can be installed according to the following steps:

3. The seams of the hull shell, the doubler plates of the fenders, and the butt joints of the rubber fenders and fenders themselves should be staggered by at least 10cm.
4. With the active development of pre-installation projects, fenders are often pre-installed on sections. Rubber fenders Therefore, the fenders should leave a section of 1-1.2m outside the large joints of the sections to be bulked on the slipway. Once the tightness of the large joints in this section is accepted, the fender can be installed in this section.
5. The horizontal and vertical ribs in the fenders are generally not welded with the outer plate of the hull, and a gap of 10mm should be left on the rubber fenders.
B.The installation method of the dock fender can be carried out according to the following steps:
1. Pretreatment: Place the dock fenders in the loading and unloading area, and check whether the size, shape and quality of the fenders meet the specifications.
2. Install the base: Install the base of the fender on the wall of the dock, and ensure that the connection between the base and the wall is firm.
3. Install the fenders: place the fenders on the base, and fix the fenders with bolts, washers and nuts.
4. Adjust the fenders: Check whether the position of the fenders is accurate, and adjust the height and angle of the fenders to keep a certain gap with the wharf wall and the hull of the ship.
5. Complete the installation: Tighten the bolts, washers and nuts of the fender, and check the fixing of the fender.
