Working Principle
Under normal ambient temperatures, the HK-G sleeve remains inert. Once the temperature reaches its activation threshold (typically between 150°C - 250°C), the outer layer degrades, triggering the intumescent material inside to expand rapidly. This expansion creates a thick, insulating carbonaceous char that surrounds and protects the contents within from fire and heat, maintaining circuit integrity and preventing the spread of fire through openings.
