Next,we can learn the disassembly and assemble methods of the marine air pump(taking CYBW 6-20 pump as an example)
How to disassembling:
1. Losse the fastening screws on the front sealing cover, and remove the reont sealing cover.Take out the sliding vane,and tap on the pump body with wooden hammer to loose the pump body from the positioning taper pin on the back sealing cover,then remove the pump body.
2. Remove the central fastening screw of rotor,then insert a bolt to the central screw hole of the rotor to push ollt the rotor,take off the flat key.
3. Loose the fastening screws on the back sealing cover(also used as the top cover of motor).Remove the back sealing cover,then you can clean the bearing of the motor,and change grease.
How to assembling:
1. Reassemble the pump by reversing the procedure for disassembling,make sure to keep the rotor ratating freely without any jamming.(The clearance between the two end faces of rotorand the front or back sealing cover shall be 0.06~0.008mm).
At the same time, there are several points to note when disassembling:
1. When disassembling,do not knock and damage the pump body and machined surface. Before assembling,the surface shall be scrubbed clean with dry colth,and the inner cavity of the pump shall be free of oil stain and dirt.
2. When taking off the sliding vane,be careful not to drop and damage it,do not hurt the edges and corners of the sliding vane.
3. When installing the sliding vane,the bevel edge of the sliding vene shall be in accordance with the circular are of the cotor outside diameter.If the bevel edge of the sliding vane is too small or the sliding vane is too long,you may sand it with fine emery paper.
