3-Strand Nylon Rope
Product Description
3-Strand Nylon Rope
Product Introduction:
Our Marine 3‑Strand Nylon Rope is a trusted workhorse for commercial shipping, recreational boating, and offshore operations. Constructed from high‑tenacity Type‑66 nylon filaments, this twisted three‑strand line delivers exceptional shock absorption – it stretches up to 20% under heavy loads, safely cushioning sudden surges and reducing peak mooring stresses.
The open‑twist construction offers excellent handling: it splices easily, holds knots securely, and resists hockling even after prolonged use. Each strand is evenly tensioned to ensure balanced rotation and smooth deployment through fairleads and winches.
Built for the marine environment, the rope is treated with a water‑repellent finish to resist saltwater ingress, mildew, and UV degradation. Its tough outer surface withstands chafing against docks, rocks, and abrasive deck edges, yet remains flexible in cold or wet conditions.

Typical Applications Include:
*Mooring and docking lines.
*Anchor rodes and chain connectors.
*Towing hawsers and spring lines.
*Fishing net rigging and lifting slings.
*General utility cordage aboard ships and workboats.
Available diameters range from 4 mm to 56 mm, supplied in continuous coils or custom‑cut lengths. Breaking strengths are independently tested and certified to meet or exceed CI 1500‑type standards.
For long service life, rinse with fresh water after heavy salt exposure and periodically inspect for surface abrasion or internal wear. Our rope is the reliable choice when safety, elasticity, and durability are non‑negotiable.
