The Steel Casting J chaser is a tool for recovering the embedded anchors and mooring lines from the seabed when the pennant has broken and the buoy drifted away, especially deep-penetration twin shank anchors. The material of the J Lock Type Chain chaser is not hard as the material of the wire and chain.This means that wear is taken by the chaser without damage to the chain and wire.

Marine J lock chaser's unique design allows the chaser to be towed along the chain in one direction ,also then locks onto the chain and doesn’t slide any further. Due to the chaser has now locked, the chain can be pulled and any tension in the mooring line , it will be directly transferred to the chaser itself.

Besides, the guiding design of the J Chain chaser enables the catching of the chain when the Marine Steel Casting  Chain Chaser approaches a mooring point where the catenary angle is as high as 45 degrees.
