15PPM OIL WATER SEPARATOR

15ppm Bilge Water Separator, a shipboard device, was used to separate oil from oily water mixtures,l emulsion and other contaminants that would be harmful for the oceans. Bilge separators are necessary aboard vessels to prevent discharge of oil overboard while pumping out bilges or while cleaning oil tanks.

The international Maritime Organization(IMO) publishes regulations through the Marine Environment Protection Committee(MEPC), on 18July 2003, new regulations MEPC.107(49) adopted, each vessel built after this date had to follow. In this new requlation, each ows must be able to achieve clean bilge water under 15ppm of type C oil or heavily emulsified oil, and any other contaminants that maybe found.

Deyuan Marine's OWS were designed and manufactured according to the latest MEPC.107(49), approval by IACS member society , such as CCs, ABS, LR, BV, DNV.GL. The device adopts the combination of 1 st stage, cone plate gravity and coalesce separation, 2 nd stage, fiber filter and 3 rd stage, membrane permeation in order to make the treated bilge water to reach the requirements of discharge standard of the resolution of IMO MEPC 107(49).
