Marine Shifting-Yoke Type Double Rudder Tiller Hydraulic Steering Gear

Marine shifting yoke hydraulic steering gear is also called Fork type steering gear, widely used on tankers, ferries, General cargo ships, passage ships, Dredgers and any other vessels that need more steering torque.

This kind of hydraulic steering gear uses a solenoid valve or a electrohydraulic valve to control the open type hydraulic circuit. This shifting yoke hydraulic steering gear equipped with two separate AC oil pump unit (At rapid flow area need increase one more DC motor pump unit), two pump units are used interchangeably. The shifting yoke steering gear is a reciprocating motion of the plunger in the cylinder, which drives the rudder blade movement by the steering torque. The system is equipped with independent pumps and valves groups, pumps and valve groups intergrate to be power cabinets of steering gear.  

Shifting yoke type hydraulic steering gear can design for single rudder or double rudder ship type, with torgue range from 50-550KN.M, we can also accept tailor-made as per customers specification.Marine certificate such as CCS, ABS, DNV, BV, RINA, BKI etc are available.
